Has anyone taken a World History test b4 so that they can give me a feedback of how hard it was or not?
or how much you prepared
all i know is that it's one of the more unpopular tests

i took it last year. i started studying exactly a month before (i learnt nothing from my classes, all from the book), and was highly motivated. i forced myself to crack a few chapters in the book every night.

when it finally came, i got a 700, which i was satisfied with.

my practice tests i was scoring 650’s so i was suprised i got a 700, honestly, but as for how hard it , well, it’s alot of details, but i personally find world history more interesting than us history.

bottom line: put in a solid month of studying from kaplan’s and ull do great.

I took it last year too; I got an 800 on it. Whenever I would do practice tests I would always score in the low 700’s so I surprised I got an 800; they put a pretty lenient curve on it. I was always good at world history it was one of my strong subjects. Last year I took AP World so I did a LOT of preparing for that AP test and the subject test is basically the same kind of format. I didn’t find it that difficult but from what I hear from most people it’s supposed to be very hard.

@delmonico
i have the barron’s world history
is that alright too?
and yeah i heard that the curve is pretty lenient

i also baught barron’s. didn’t use it. if ur pressed on time it’s not worth doing barron’s cause too in depth. first get the basics (kaplan), then go more in depth if u have time. but i personally think barrons has TOO much. i had this argument with kids who had barrons last year and in the end i scored higher than them. world history only encomposses a certian amount of material- and after the test ull never find a question absent from the kaplan book. it has it all there. barron’s has it all, but in double the length. barrons practice tests and questions are also much harder than the actual test.
