SAT Superscore?

Fact or Fiction:

You can use your SAT score for let's say.. math.. from a previous SAT and replace it with your current SAT math score? As in, if you got a lower score on your current one but in the past, you scored higher for math, can you use that old math score? D:

btw, is it just me or was math seriously harder for january sat... okay irrelevant i know. haha thanks for all that take the time to reply. (:

Fact. The college will see all your scores. However, the lower-admission-person will present a superscored SAT to the ACTUAL admission committee. Hope this helps.

So wait, if I took 3 tests, and on one of the tests I got 800 in CR, another I got 800 in writing, and in the last test I got a 800 in math, will they superscore that so I get a 2400? :D

That's right.

oh wow really? thanks kyun90.
that's surprising.. i thought they said that your score would only be from one sitting but well, i guess not. hmm this changes what my original plan was lol.

College adcoms will only look at your highest scores in each section, whether or not it was in one sitting does not matter.

Oh but some schools don't do this right? like... UC schools.. :(

What if you totally bomb one section you did really well on in a previous section (like go from the 700s to the 500s)? Will that count against you?
