Hey guys :) so i know the basics of superschoring and what it is and everything but I was wondering if someone could tell me more about it. Basically I took the SAT for the first time in December and I just got my scores back. I got a perfect score on the Writing Section and did not do so well on the other two sections. Would it make sense for me to just focus on the math section for my next SAT, and then my reading comp for my third SAT? Do most colleges superscore or would this method be useless and stupid? Thanks for shedding some light on the whole process of superscoring and all.

most colleges do superscore so in theory three tries of 800/200/200, 200/800/200, 200/200/800 will give you 2400 perfect score…

HOWEVER, they can also see your all scores, so if you get really bad (below 600), they’ll know that you are trying to trick with superscore.

Many colleges do superscore, but as olaolaolaola said, they will see each testing scores, which means you definitely don’t want to do TERRIBLE in 2 sections and hope for a exceptionally high score in just one section. I think the method would be a bad idea, just because of the above.

I got 650+'s in my other two section but hopefully I should be able to raise them 50-70 or so points within the next year while maintaining a pretty solid english score. Thanks so much for both of your advice though!
