I’m a junior, non US citizen.
I’m planning business major in Wharton or Harvard, and my SAT scores are 1540 (last August, EBRW 750 and Math 790) and 1510 (this October, EBRW 710 and Math 800). I want to use superscore and score choices so that I have 1550 (EBRW from last August and Math for this October) , but I’m not sure if this is possible for other HYPS or Ivy league schools. Should I take it again or use superscore? I need your advice ;(
I learned a long time ago that there is barely a difference between 1550-1600 on the SAT (1540 should be ok)…you’ve proved to them you are smart! (Remember getting like one wrong lowers you what ten points? The difference between getting in shouldn’t be one question)! If you can superscore, go for it! You’ve proved you’re smart, do not waste time and money on another test. Focus on the essays now and go wow them. Lol hope I helped.
@ssannya 1550 will not make a difference compared to 1540. a 1540 score puts you slightly above average for Penn and right around average for Harvard. You will be fine. you scores are good enough for adcoms at both schools to consider you for admission and look at the other parts of your application.
@amberhearst @Penn95 thank you so much for such kind advices really helped me!
