So I just received my SAT scores yesterday--I kind of wish Collegeboard did April Fool's jokes, because my math score was horrible...
Total: 2110
CR 730 M 630 W 750
Now I really have to study for the math part and take it again...
Williams only considers the highest individual scores and combines them, right? Will the admissions people see all my SAT scores or just the best ones? And if I manage to raise my math up to about 700, do you think my overall score would be in range for Williams?
Also, I was planning to submit an art portfolio, but I'm worried that my artwork won't be 'varied' enough. I do mostly charcoal sketches and drawings using reference photos or still life. I've never won any awards, either--I know I'm good, but art is more like a hobby for me, so I don't enter competitions or anything. Should I still do the portfolio or just leave it out?
Thanks!

Williams will only look at your highest scores - and they’ll really only consider Math + CR.

I submitted an art portfolio and I haven’t won any awards either (it’s a hobby for me as well). I did take at least one art class every year of high school though. I got in, so it can’t hurt.

What? I thought Williams considered writing.

Don’t fret too much. I was accepted despite having a 610 in math (though having an 800 in critical reading might have helped them overlook that).
