SAT US History

I need information on US History. What's the best way to prepare for it?
How hard is the test to score above 700? Any specific topic/era that's sure to come up?
I am a new member...So thanks for all your help.

Hi! Welcome to CC

To get a 700, you need a raw score of about 64/90 (this number may change each test).
Found here on sparknotes: [SparkNotes: SAT Subject Test: U.S. History: Scoring and the SAT II U.S. History](http://www.sparknotes.com/testprep/books/sat2/history/chapter2section3.rhtml). They also have an entire study guide online that may be useful: [SparkNotes: SAT Subject Test: U.S. History](http://www.sparknotes.com/testprep/books/sat2/history/index.html). And there are also some practice tests http://testprep.sparknotes.com/testcenter/sat2/history/</a>.

About 1 in 5 people who take the US History subject test make at least a 700.

If you read through a good prep book (like AMSCO) you should cover just about everything you need to know.

Let us know if you have any more questions! Good luck!

wewet 234, thank you so much. I was worried no one was responding.
Your recommendations are great. I’m considering SAT 2’s in US History, Biology
and Math. Not sure about Chem…
