I'm a sophomore and I'm currently prepping for my SATs in the fall. I'm studying vocabulary from some books I bought that people recommended in reviews, but I was just wondering which books you guys used to achieve a high score. Thanks!

Barron’s has a pretty extensive list on common SAT words, and it even comes with flashcards.

Find some books and read for fun. You’ll enjoy it more and you’ll pick up words much more naturally than you will memorizing definitions.

I’m using the one that CollegeBoard makes and it’s really helpful.

Download the Magoosh SAT Vocab app for iPhone, it’s really helpful learn them all.

All SAT vocab books have the same words and you’ll do fine if you thoroughly study any one of those books.

However, I highly recommend Larry Kreiger’s 500 Essential Words (I had a 64 CR on my sophomore PSAT and an 800 CR on the real SAT and I can really only attribute my success to this book. It also has some really great reading strategies.)
