SAT vs ACT? Will my scores arrive in time?

So I took my ACT with writing in June and somehow managed to put off sending scores and now it’s the end of October.

I sent my ACT score last night(Friday) to UMich electronically.
I know UMich is pretty strict about deadlines but will accept additional scores later on.

I heard SAT has rush electronic scores - should I send those in just to make sure they get my ACT/SAT on time for EA?

SAT (630 CR, 800 Math, 690 WR, 10 Essay)
ACT (34) (34 English, 35 Math, 35 Reading, 33 Science, 31 English/Writing, 8 Essay)

My ACT score is stronger and it was all I was planning to send it. Will sending in my SAT score affect my application negatively?

Your ACT score may arrive just in time. If not, they will still consider your application in RD. Around half of the applicants apply EA while they admit around 1/4 of the total admission from it. So the chance does not really increased a whole lot. It is only important for merit aids.

Scores send by the 22 or 23 of October usually get to Michigan in time for EA. USUALLY, not always.
