<p>Hey i know Stanford accepts both the SAT and ACT w/ writing for admissions but would taking the ACT over the SAT offer any disadvantage at all? I know east and west coast schools prefer the SAT but does that mean a high SAT score is better than a high ACT score? Thanks in advance</p>
<p>In the eyes of admission committees, it makes no difference whether you submit scores from the ACT or the SAT. They are viewed equally. Your best bet is to take both tests and see which one works for you.</p>
