<p>i know Stanford says that you can submit either the act or sat, but do they look at the SAT more favorably than the ACT? would it hurt my if i only sent in my ACT score?</p>

<p>-my ACT score is WAY better than my SAT score.
-since i live in the south, the SAT is almost nonexistent (my school has prepared me to take ACT only..not SAT). Honestly, my guidance counselors havent mentioned the SAT until the beginning of this school year :?</p>

<p>the rest of my application is very solid, btw.</p>

<p>I don't think they'll hold it against you, they just convert ACT score to SAT scores. I've heard that the conversion vary by school though.</p>

<p>You still spent a whole saturday morning doing a test of your skills that is just as hard to ace as the SAT. Really there shouldn't be anything wrong with just sending ACT, I think only like 4% of applicants don't submit SAT though.</p>
