SAT World History-International-June 2013

Thank you Gloogle for your efforts in constantly updating the discussed questions!
According to the most recent list I will get a 740, pessimistically 710. Maybe a more lenient curve can even push me to 760. That’d be great.

Wasn’t there a question on why Marco Polo traveled to China? The options were something like: competition between Venetians merchants, discovery of new trade route, and I can’t remember the others because I probably eliminated them very early.

Also, there was a question on the modern-day political system of Saudi-Arabia, which is a monarchy as I learned much to my displeasure (I guessed dictatorship I think).

Scores are out!

How’d you guys do? I’m pleasantly surprised that I got a 770.

780! Admittedly, I had been hoping.for an 800, but I doubt that a 20 point difference will hurt me and I’m quite pleased with my score. It looks like the curve wasn’t as forgiving as i thought it would be :D

@iceskaterr That’s just as good as an 800! It’s something you should be really proud of!

Thanks @Gloogle! A 770 is pretty stellar too! I was a bit disappointed when I first saw my score, but for 2 days of studying I feel great now! A 20 or 30 point difference is something i can live with! :)

Got a 780. I was really hoping for the 800, but still happy I did as well as I did.

Great scores, Gloogle, DAIMYO, and iceskaterr!

I got a 710! I’m surprised, seeing as I guessed on probably 40 questions (and I’m really not exaggerating, I marked up my test booklet a lot). Also, I took a practice test the night before and got a 540, so that didn’t help with my confidence…

I’m really glad that as a sophomore, I already have one of my SAT Subject Tests out of the way.

Not too shabby for a sophomore! Maybe if you take it again next year you’ll get 750+! :D

Curves be trippin XD. I got a 780 :D.

750!

Not bad for someone who hates history… :p

I’m curious to see how big the curve was this year. This test was harder than the practice ones by a long shot.
