SAT Writing Essay

I've been taking a few practice SAT's lately and I've discovered one of my big weaknesses is not being able to finish the essay in time. I usually get an intro, three body/example paragraphs, and am working on my concluding paragraph by the time the timer goes off. I feel like my essays are otherwise pretty decent and a good length (usually 2.5 pages or maybe more), but I might need to throw in some more advanced vocabulary. How do you think I would score on the real SAT if I had an incomplete concluding paragraph and do you have any tips for the essay/ SAT in general?

On most of my practice essays (although I did not use this technique on the actual test on Saturday) I would write the conclusion with about 10 minutes left if I felt I would be strapped for time. This gave me time to write a strong conclusion and also kept me from putting too much fluff into my examples. Overall, I think it makes for a stronger essay to use this tactic, but you do need to approximate where the conclusion will fall in the provided space.
