Sat wrong section procedure

@SeaArgent Have you received your scores?

Not yet, but I finally got an email after calling them dozens of times.

"You recently contacted the SAT® Customer Service Department requesting the status of your SAT scores. Your scores have been delayed because your answer sheet is going through the Exceptions Scoring Process. The Exceptions Scoring Process takes additional time because a representative inspects each answer sheet to ensure the correct and most accurate scores are reported to your account.

The cause for the scores being delayed is:

You identified an issue during the testing that required the use of more than one answer sheet
While we understand that receiving your scores in a timely manner is important, we also want to make sure that the scores accurately represent your ability. The processing time can vary on your situation depending on different factors; please continue to check your online account in the next couple of weeks."

Okay thanks! I sent several emails to college board but I received none back:( hopefully it is released in two or less weeks because my apps are mostly due by the end of November.

I did early action for fordham, and didn’t send in my sat score yet due to this. Huge inconvenience!!!

Anything?

No. This is so frustrating.

On my account it now says “complete” for my status. It used to just say “registered.” So I think it’s finally getting scored… I assume

@SeaArgent anything?

nope :frowning:

LOL this is making college application so much more stressful.

Its been almost 7 weeks.

So I’ve been following this discussion for weeks now, and I am glad to say I finally got my scores. But I am saddened by the fact that I went down a numerous amount of points. Coincidentally, the same section that I accidentally filled out the wrong information on. Is it possible my score went down because of that, or did I just perform poorly?
My main focus was math, but reading just comes so easy to me, I don’t see why I performed so poorly.

You know what’s worse. Now my november scores are delayed too… and may be cancelled. I just hate this whole situation…

@SeaArgent I’ve been following your thread and I’m in a similar situation where I mixed up my sections as well. I think we may be getting closer to receiving our scores because @whaaaaaat and @misophoniax have both received their October 3rd scores. Let’s keep our fingers crossed!!

@whaaaaaat I received my scores. I got a 2100 with a 660 on Critical Reading. I usually am in the low-mid 700’s for CR, yet I only got a 660. I found the reading passages doable, but my scores say otherwise. Not being ungrateful in any way, but I also found that the section which I misbubbled happened to be the section I scored lower in. Taking the December SAT, so fingers crossed that I can superscore with a better CR score.

I got my subject test scores from November  For the October test though… I called Called College board for the 4th time and now they finally found my test and they’re in the process of grading

@SeaArgent I dont think the nov test is delayed because of the earlier test…

I guess ill send my 30 on act and send the sat scores later :frowning:

Hey guys I took the October SAT too and I haven’t got my score back yet. Its in the exceptions scoring process for using an extra answer sheet. I sent them a message on Twitter and they said it could take up to five weeks after the original release date, but that was last week. Keeping my fingers crossed for December SAT!

@BCSP10 Oh God I never want to take another standardized test. Lesson learned for real
