Does Northwestern take your highest scores to give you the highest score possible, or do they just look at the highest score in one sitting? THANKS!

yea whoever can answer this will help me a lot!!!

they just look at the highest score. they don't take your highest score from different tests and put them together, unless you did better on the old SAT compared to the new SAT.
If so, they'll take your old SAT scores and just add the new writing section. At least thats what they told me over the weekend.

I was under the impression that NU counts the highest verbal, math and writing as opposed to taking the highet score at 1 sitting like U of Michigan.

I know they used to take the highest verbal and math scores, not necessarily in the same sitting. I doubt that has changed with the new SAT.
