Sat?

Could someone explain how they mark the SAT? Im pretty sure there are 3 parts - maths, creative writing and a grammar part. But isnt the essay or whatever out of 15? How do they get 730 or whatever.

Thankyou

^That’s so funny. HAHAHA:HAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA LOL

DUDE YOU ARE AN IDIOT. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

I apologize for the rude/inane reply you’ve received. Yes, there are three sections to the SAT - Critical Reading, Math and Writing. Each section is scored on a scale from 200-800. The essay makes up part of your writing score. Essays are graded on a scale of 0-6, and they are read by two people, so your final essay score will range from 0-12. Overall, the test is scored on a curve, with most people scoring around average (500 per section). You’ll be best off purchasing some SAT prep materials, which can give you an idea of the content of the test, as well as more in-depth info about scoring. Good luck.

^
Actually, your essay is graded on a scale of 1-6, not 0-6. You only get a zero if your essay is off topic, or not your original work. If you write anything on the topic you get a minimum of 1/6 and 2/12.

You must have one hell of a sense of humor to think that was funny.

Get off this site for a while, and walk outside. Its a pretty cool place.
