any recommendations on which one is easier?? i've taken honors level for both. chem last year and bio 2 years ago..

im leaning towards chem.. do you think that with a little more prep its possible for me to score above like 730ish by dec w/o taking AP chem??

thanks!!

I would say they have equal level of difficulty-the curves are also about the same for both exams. In your case, I would take chem b/c you’re probably more familiar with it since you took it sooner and yes, it is definitely possible to score 730 or above w/o AP. Some honors chem students in my school took it and scored in the upper 700s.

I agree with GoldOwl. Since you took Chem last, you’re more likely to remember stuff from Chem that will help you on the SAT II. Just get a decent prep book and study, study, study. If you take Bio, you’ll probably remember almost nothing from 2 years ago and have to essentially “start all over” on a new subject. I would go with Chem in your case.
