Alright, so I am planning to take the SATII Biology exam. Any tips, like how the test is structured and what I should expect would be greatly appreciated. How should I prepare for this exam, I took AP Biology, but I don't feel like it is enough to get me the high score that I want.

Also, any recommendations for other SATII tests I should take.

Just get the prep book online and take a practice test or two. Study the stuff in there that wasn’t fully covered in ap bio. I tool ap bio as well and a week before the test I finally decided to begin studying and took a quick practice test. I got 630. Then after quickly reading a few sections from a review book I got 730 on the practice test the day before the sat. I did more brief studying and got 790 on the bio m test. My point is that if you tool ap bio you have a solid baseline and should be fine. Just brush up on things you don’t remember too well and you should do great!

^Correct. The best Bio M/E prep book is PR. Even though I haven’t opened mine past the diagnostic test. I heard its fantsastic

Thanks so much guys, I will definitely buy the PR Bio M/E prep book. Does the same method apply to the SAT Chemistry Exam

I’m not sure because I took bio, US history, and math II. But I’m sure either probably similar.

picklechicken37 how was the US History and MathII? Did you find any subject test easier than the other?

I got a 750 on math II (I omitted 8 questions too which I thought was weird) and I got a 670 on US history. I’m math oriented so I found that easier. Additionally I didn’t study for history. I only took it in case one of the other two tests went horrible wrong.

To add to what I just said: I also took history last and thought I did well enough on bio and math before that so I was not exactly in the testing mindset. History is probably an easier score to raise than math because it is just factual recall. But most schools that take subject to tests want math II so I highly recommend taking that. The curve is very generous too (I believe it is 43/50 = 800 or something like that)
