hydrate problem is 10 (i did the math calculation) and u guessed rite pianolover

its 10....

multiply everything so its equal to 1 mole
then convert molar mass to number of moles..
and its equal to 10

or u can jsut divide the moles of water by moles of hydrate...how easy is that

Basically its 10..

Now LETS discuss the CEs..
no one remember them for some reason

for the activation energy one with A-->B and B-->A, I put T,T,CE b/c the reverse reaction requires more activation energy. Any confirmation?

some of the CEs were insanely easy...they need be discussed...i m sre none of us here got so many of them wrong

yes that is right puddinggirl

any other questions any1 remember

catalysts dont affect speed.. right??

Catalysts speed up the reaction by lowering activation energy.

oh.... i got 2 CE right for sure.. lol

heres my curve approximation:

800 = 5 WRONG
700 = 12 WRONG

Recall the CEs...
Is there any other forum discussing this??

variance, do u have aim

for the activation energy one with A-->B and B-->A:
I think it's F,T

Wasn't the first statement about how the rate of the forward is greater than the rate of the reverse Rx? Since the temperature wasn't given, you can't tell if the forward Rx is favored....right?

i was wondering if i can talk to u

well if temperature is not given, then u have to assume that it is constant

what about some of the questions from 24-70
does ne1 remember those

did anyone omit a few of the first ones... i had to omit the acid rain, glass, and ozone ones, i had no idea and we have never learned this kind of "real world" chemistry compounds in class nor in prep books. i just kinda knew the fertilizer one out of random knowledge. but that really dsisapointed me, those initial 20 "definitioN" questions are usualy giveaways and freebie points!

yes, those type questions were all defined in the barrons book 7th edition, i studied all of em the day b4, so ididnt really hve to omit any of em
