Hey guys, I was wondering how usefull is this calculator on the Math 2C test? Also, what equations that show up on the test, can this calculator do?

Thanks

The TI-89 is very helpful on the SAT II Math IIc. It can do basically every equation on there.

You don't need it. I used my scientific calculator for the entire test, and the Ti-89 was just collecting dust.

You can do it all with an 84. I would not buy an 89 just for that test. if you alreayd have an 89 and use it, u will do good with it.

What calculations does the Ti-89 do well in.. like which equations would it be better to use a ti-89 rather than a regualr scientific calculator.

Well, a ti89 has a (limited) equation solver, something a scientific calculator doesn't.

So what kind of equations can you actually solve on the ti89?

I was wondering that about that question also.

You can solve integrals, derivatives, differential equations, systems of equations, matrices... you can factor, expand, find roots, basically everything that a high school student would need.
