SATII Math Level 2 to make up for an SAT I?

Hey guys-

I have a question about scores. I took my SAT I in May, and I got a 2170. (710 Writing, 710 English, 750 Writing). I basically took that one cold. I took my ACT and received a 33. (I did more studying for that one) Today I took the Math Level 2 and Physics SAT IIs. My question is this: If I do very well on my Math / Physics SAT II's, does it make sense to retake the SAT I to try and raise my score? I felt very good about the tests today, so I'm hoping for good results.

I'm asking this in the light of colleges I'm shooting for (right now, I'm thinking about EE and/or Computer Science at MIT, or possibly Carnegie Mellon or Olin). I realize that my SAT I's were good, so I'm not trying to appear as one of those people that are freaking out due to their "bad scores". I'm just wondering if the SAT II Math can make up for the SAT I, and whether or not retaking is a good idea.

Thanks for your time!

If you get a good Math II, don't bother retaking.

In fact, don't bother retaking either way.

Yea...that's what I was thinking...Just gotta do one more SAT II for those colleges that require 3 (most that require them require 3). I'm thinking about doing the US History.

Are SAT's offered over the summer at all, or just fall / spring / early summer?

Seems like they take a break over the summer and start again in October.

I reckon go for the Lit over US History, unless you're really good at US History and particularly bad at Lit. Thing about Lit is it requires absolutely zero preparation beforehand, and has a good curve. Dunno about the US History curve.

The curve on USH is decent 81 of 90, but definitely Lit requires less if any preparation.

i took Lit today.....

it was nice that i didnt have to prepare at all...but it was HARD?

where as history, theoretically, if you study alot, it shoud be easy right?
