SATII Math Level CII Book

Which book is best to use for tests only in order to prepare for the SATII Math Level CII Test?

I would personally recommend Sparknotes and Princeton Review... Sparknotes is a bit easier but pretty close and Princeton Review is on the mark... I would stay away from Barron's b/c it just makes you completely hopeless for a good score and it tests you stuff that isn't even tested on the exam...

the Princeton Review book was AWESOME. The Barron's book has all this extra stuff that wasn't on the test, and people that had it just spent too long being confused about the stuff.

would you guys say that if i overprepare for the CII test that it would help me in BC calculus. I mean if i would learn extra things, would they be helpful in any other test or subject?

Would you guys say the princeton review is good for the tests or the lessons? Becuase I do not want the book for the lessons, more for the tests.

Princeton Review is test... trust me... quick overall of the essentials... As for Calc BC... SAT IIC doesn't help per say... I mean it's Precalc material... you do have to use some Precalc knowledge in BC, but not that much... and no the extra things as far as I know is just extra and hard... don't bother...

a lot of people swear by barrons, but i thought sparknotes was really good. i don't think either of them will really give you a leg up in calc, but i guess reinforcing the basics can't hurt.

by reinforcing the basics are you referring to doing all the practice tests or going through the lessons that are in the book?

i think sparknotes was decent, but I can't remember exactly what it was like. Barrons is always notorious for being very difficult.

the IIC and the BC calc AP test totally different material. Although you might need some of the trig/algebra/etc on it, it's mostly integrals and derivatives and the dumb rotation things

BC is just more integration techniques and mainly series and sequences

I used the SAT Subject Test: Math Level 2 by REA, and that was sufficient enough for me to pull off an 800.

i have bought the barrons book. Thanks for all of your help.
