November SATI or SATIIs?

Did anyone get his or her scores?

Yeah I am both happy and disappointed...

Bio E: 750
Math 1: 660
US History: 660

If you got your scores post em'....for what reason.......? :)

Mine were excellent except for the fact that CB corrected the E section of the biology test instead of M. That means they didnt correct 20 questions!! What should I do? Harvard needs them!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Physics - 720
Math IIC - 740

I was shooting for over 700, so I'm thrilled. :)

Math IIC: 800!!!!
Should I send these to Harvard (I applied EA)?

when will harvard get our November scores?

If you have not yet sent your scores to Harvard you probably should do that...Do they already have some scores?

They have 6 SATIIs already(780, 780, 770, 760, 750 and 740).

why did you take 7 SAT IIs? seems like a waste of money to me.

Holy cow yes, alot of money, don't I wish... Well you could send them, but unless they will see them anyway you run the risk of them seeing someone who takes scores over and over again for the perfect score. I don't know how long after the deadline they accept scores for EA anyway...

Princeton accepts them to about after Thanksgiving I was told, but I don't know about Harvard.

Is a 750, 660, 660 on subject tests good? I come from what CCer call a "crappy" school (Although I like my school) with an SAT Avg of 989. So...will this sort of tell them that my AP classes are not easy nothing classes?

Well my school average SAT is also around your figure. Going to a crappy school will actually hurt you. Howso? Because it was easier for you to get an "A" then I. I dont mean to say you didnt work hard, but the standard was different. In my school, a magnet, I (a poor kid) is competing against a bunch of rich kids. Therefore, its becomes tough to judge. If I were to have gone to my homeschool, than I would so be Val, however, I chose a challenge. My SAT IIs were 800, 680, 680. Your scores arent bad though, taking into account that there are many minorities who are in the upper economic brackets and get lower scores than we do.

hey maguo, id recommend it. if they let you, that would be a great addition to your app. if you get defered, that 800 just might help you tip the balance in your favor. so try to let them know about it.

Can I just call my adcom, or do I need to send a new score report?

Eh. The Nov SATIIs were my official last standardized tests. I have never broken 700 on I or II.

Going to a crappy or even a mundane school and achieving SAT I & II scores of 700+ actually can show that you did a lot of self-studying and have great motivation. As far as the GPA thing goes... Ivy league schools know how hard it is to get an "A" at magnet schools as they have several applicants from those types of places. I feel bad for you, however, because you have to work around 25 hours a week part-time whereas most of the rich kids who attend your school have plenty of time to dedicate to their studies and additional extra-curricular activities. Explain your situation well and I'm sure you'll get into one of the top colleges of this GLORIOUS (LMFAO) country in which we live.

phy 800
chinese 800
chem 750

oct sat
1600

my God....:o
