SATII Physics vs AP Physics

Is AP Physics C: Electricity and Magnetism enough to get an 800 on the SAT II phsyics or do you need Mechanics with it?

Yese it is..

I took the AP Physics C, test and scored a 720 which is deccent the first time, and the second time I scored a 750, but my friend scored in 800 and we both took AP Physics C!! & to answer your ? yes there is a information regarding mechanics on the SATII physics test, but if you just read over review books you will do fine if you have taken the AP physics C class!!

good luck

No, not really. AP Physics C doesn't cover Optics and Waves. Now if you took an Honors Physics Course or AP Physics B you will have adequate knowledge of the material to do well on the SAT II Physics. But the SAT II Physics has Mechanics, E&M, Optics, Waves, and maybe some Atomic?

Thanks for the replies!
Couple more questions.
Is calculus on SAT II?
And is AP Physics B enough?
Maybe I could self-study parts of it.

No. But if you're good at science yes. All three of my friends who are in the same AP Physics C class as me got an 800 on the exam. Me on the other hand.....
