Will AP Physics C: Mechanics be enough to prepare for SAT II Physics?

I'm currently taking AP Physics C: Mechanics. Haven't taken Biology or Chemistry classes, just "Natural/Integrated Science" classes, so Physics is my only choice for my science SAT II as I'm a junior.

Will it be enough to prepare me for the SAT II Physics?

Buy the Barrons SAT II in physics, because it covers all of the electricity and magnetism stuff covered in the E and M AP but not on the mechanics.

I think that the SAT Physics exam is closer to the AP Physics B curriculum, because there are questions on topics like optics and modern physics that are not covered in Physics C.

I think that it’s possible to self-study these topics for the test with a detailed prep book (probably Barron’s and/or Princeton Review - the combination of these two definitely prepares you to score high), and there is a relatively lenient curve.

However, the SAT Physics does contain a lot of electricity and magnetism questions, as well as mechanics questions, so JUST Physics C Mechanics probably won’t prepare you for the tests. Physics C Mechanics AND a self-work might.

Hope this helps! :p
