I'm currently enrolled in APUSH, and I'm planning on taking the SATII US History test in May. Is there anything on the SATII not in the AP curriculum, and vice versa? Should I get any prep books for the SATII? I already have AMSCO and Crash Course for APUSH, so is anything else really necessary? Advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

APUSH covers everything for the SAT test. You don’t need any more study material other than what you have. but if you can get college board book and do the two sample tests, it’ll be helpful to you in terms of timing and see what’s in the test. My daughter got 4 in APUSH, went on to take SAT without study, but she did the two sample tests, and got 800.

I asked my friend who took APUSH last year what she did to review for the SAT subject test, and she said she just reviewed her APUSH notes. (she’s not really one of those kids who remembers every single little detail either)
She might have taken a practice test or two but APUSH should definitely cover it. Good luck :)

Just get The Essential Content by Larry Krieger. I got a 770 on the SAT II and a 5 on the AP exam with only that resource.

Based on this, I’ll probably just use what I have for APUSH and get the CB tests (and maybe borrow Krieger from the library or something). Thanks guys!!
