How would a student wanting to attend an American College take the SATs/ACTs if only the US has them?
I will be sitting the SAT exam in Sydney, Australia next month.
Will be taking the Math, Reading , Writing/Language sections.
Which year are you currently in?
Do internationals generally take the test later or around the same time as Americans?
You can take the SAT outside the US.
You can find more info in the Test maker’s website: https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat/register/find-test-centers
(search for your location in the drop down menu)
I’m actually a mature age student coming back to do the SAT looking to get entry into a US university.
They are offered around the world. My daughter took it in Bangalore.
Does anyone know if resident from Australia can sit other subjects of the SAT exam in their home country? (i.e Australia). Could I for instance sit the Chemistry, Physics exam in Australia?
Yes, with the caveat that Subject Tests and the SAT test cannot be taken on the same date.
