When can I take SATs again?

<p>Hi, I'm a Year 12 student in Australia, and I plan to go to college in the US. I just did the SAT subject tests in chem, phys and maths 2, but I haven't done the SATs yet. My closest test centre is full up for the May SATs, so I was wondering, when is the next test date, and will I be able to use it in my application for 2012? </p>

<p>Also, for MIT applications, the website says the SAT is required as well as a maths and science subject test, but I'm not sure if I necessarily have to do the SAT, for example can I substitute it with my HSC (Australian year 12 exams) somehow? I emailed them but they haven't replied.</p>

<p>Dates in Australia should be same as US which would mean there will be a test date in June, Oct, Nov, and Dec. Dec. is for many colleges, the last testing date you can have for regular admission applications; however, many others, including MIT, accept through Jan. tests. </p>

<p>If you are from an English speaking nation (which Australia is), you need SAT or ACT.</p>
