SAT's good enough - Will ACT help?

<p>Hi-</p>

<p>My son is a junior and took SAT's in January.
CR-760
M-720
W-690</p>

<p>We & he are pretty sure this is as good as he can expect and he's not going to take the SAT's again.</p>

<p>Would his chances be helped by taking the ACT, particularly for his reach schools? </p>

<p>P.S. - Science is a strong suit for him.</p>

<p>umm well it depends what he gets on the ACT. I don't think taking the ACTs would help him unless he's cofident he can get a 32+. And there probably aren't many reach schools for a 1480 on the SATs. That's a pretty solid score.</p>

<p>Also, I've never heard or read anyone say "We and he" before haha.</p>
