SATs in December?

Hi!
I am an international student, applying to college in the US for Fall 2015.

I have already taken the "basic" SATs last June, and now on my way to take SAT subject tests in October.

However... I will probably need to re-take the Subject Tests. I would like to re-take the SAT I as well. I am planning the Subject Test re-take in November and SAT I again in December. I am very worried that the December date will be too late. Can I apply to colleges earlier than that and if yes, how do I let them know I have additional scores coming in? I would not want them to judge me based on my previous scores, but rather the new ones.

:)

Check with each school you are applying. In general, if you are applying to schools RD with deadline in January or later, the December test score should be fine particularly if submitted directly.

Billcsho thank you for reply!

I was just wondering - doesn’t the admissions office start going through applications before the January 1st deadline? The thing is, I am worried they will look at my scores before I submit the “improved” SATs and will disregard my application.

If it is rolling, they will. You may also indicate on your application you have scores pending.
