Sats maths level i or ii

ok being a complete noob here, so I'm just asking.
Is it dumb/smart to take both Maths Level 1 and 2 as well as some other SAT II to have it add up to 3 subject tests? Or do people just generally not do that?

that’s fine but generally if you’re taking the level 2 math then you wouldn’t take the level 1 because it would be too easy.

Never take both maths, just take the one you think you’ll score higher on.

It is a good idea to take both math tests, but I don’t recomend using both to send to colleges (most colleges want to see subject tests in different fields and are unlikely to look positively on two tests in the exact same subject). In Princeton Review they recomment taking the Math I if you take the Math II as a backup in case you get flustered or something or just don’t do that well on the Math II. One thing to consider, though, is that the two tests are scaled on completely different curves; just a couple careless mistakes can cost you 40 or so points on the level I, but you can skip like 6 or 7 questions on the level II and still get an 800. In my opinion, if you are good at conceptual math and figuring out how to solve complicated problems, even if you are prone to make some careless mistakes, you should take the level II, but if your stregnth is speed and accuracy working with less complicated problems you should take the level I. Hope this is of some help.

never take both hehe because it’s pretty much useless
math 1 is easier but it allows less mistakes.
math 2 is harder but it allows u about 5 mistakes
people i know and i myself think that it’s easier to get an 800 on math 2 than on math 1
