SATs?

Hello everyone, I'm a prospective transfer applicant from SUNY Binghamton. I have some idea as to where I'd like to apply, but I would like to know some information about how much most schools consider SATs/SAT IIs. My top choice is Dartmouth (followed by UPenn and Duke). My SAT score is 2230/1510 and my SAT II scores are:

-Bio M- 750
-Math II- 760
-Chemistry- 720
-Physics- 740
-Literature- 670 (lolz)

I feel like they would help me, but by how much? I think my GPA will be high this semester (read: ~3.8+), would this put me in good standing?

Are you applying to enter as a sophomore or a junior? In general, the earlier you transfer, the more you high school data affects your application. If they only have 1 semester to look at, they’ll pay attention to your SAT scores. If they have three, the focus will be almost entirely on your college performance.
If you manage a 3.8+, you’ll be a decent candidate for Dartmouth, but you’ll definitely want some less choosy schools on your list.

I’d be applying to enter my sophomore year. My high school GPA could have been higher, which is probably why I got rejected the first time around.

Your scores are pretty average for those schools so they won’t be stand out but certainly won’t keep you out.
