If I recall correctly, it was 20mi in 60mph and 8mi in 40mph.

You find the time with D=RT, so:
20=60T
8=40T
T=1/3hr
T=1/5hr

That gives you a combined time of 8/15 hours for 28 miles.
(8/15)R=28
R=52.5

Figured it out during the second math section with the extra time I had left :D.

Scared about the abs value one. The coefficient in the second one was -2 vs -4 in the first, so it would make sense that you would have to double the equation in the absolute value signs, making 4, but I doubt it would be as intuitive as that. I was just about to put 2 but decided against it.

I got 52.5 for the that math one (i’m sure for that one) and 2 for the absolute value one… not sure though. What’s the context of the two hat question? I REALLY HATED THAT READING PASSAGE. Any other answers for the passage?

^ The grid in was 302 and the swim team one should have used “and me” instead of “and I” but I don’t remember the letter of the answer or if it was a no error.

For the average speed one, what letter was 52.5? I think I put D and it had something.5 as the answer.

On the writing, what was the answer to the question about how the sentence about that guy’s advice to stores targeting men should be changed? I put leave as is.

Did anyone else get 3 no errors? And for the 2nd critical reading section, for the short reading passages, did the 1st writer use nature imagery?

yea i got like 3 NEs, and for the short passage in the 2nd CR section, i said he used description of scenery, cuz he described the nature, and the 2nd passage was like haughty tone and didn’t even talk about nature.

Okay so I was reading this other saturday psat stuff so I was reading and i can across and argument where they were talking about the question: x<y<z and I put 23 isn’t that correct cause didn’t it say that none of the numbers could be equal

Hey guys, what were the passages of the first section of CR (excluding short passages)? I actually forgot what some of them were…
There was one about children and TV, right? And a girl from India in San Francisco… is that it?
Wow, I didn’t even take the test that long ago and I totally forgot the first section!

hula755: D was 55.5. I put the same, we both messed up. I think the right answer was B. I changed it from the right answer to the wrong one because I wasn’t sure, bah.

There was one writing question: “The coach told us that we will stand a chance of qualifying for the swim team if we consistently practice over the summer” (not exact, something along those lines). Does anyone remember what they put for that one?

^ I said no error for that one, I’m pretty sure the Keisha and me part was meant to be a trick but really it’s grammatically correct because that’s an objective use.

the aforementioned math answers are correct imo.

I also got 3 NE’s for writing. I actually had 5, then went back and found 2 errors (yikes!) I think I was still pretty sleepy even at section 5… The 3 no errors were the swim coach telling Keisha and me that we stand a good chance, the amateur treasure guy finding stuff in a farmer’s field in England, and Graciela something taking her most famous photograph.

What I’m actually interested in is what people put for stuff like the “two hats” question on the last CR comparative passage. Was HARD. DEFINITELY. First CR section was pretty easy imo, but the second hit like a truck with comparison of 2 short passages, a long passage, then a comparison of 2 long passages. For the two hats one I put whichever one talked about this scientist traveling around the world advocating environmental policies or something (it was E).

@ilovepsats try making the document editable, thx :)
