Say it here cause you can't say it directly- the get it off your chest thread (NO REPLIES TO OTHER POSTS)

I get it- you are pulling an RV & that is not always easy.

But, for the love of all things on time- don’t pull out in front of me & go 45 on a two lane hwy.

  • Which course should I take?

People who refuse the covid vaccine shouldn’t be allowed back on campuses (or any other public businesses like movies, restaurants, etc.) I said what I said. If you’re too selfish to consider public health, then stay home.

**This does NOT include people with disabilities or medical conditions that preclude them from becoming vaccinated.

DH has way more patience than I. You and your son (and you always blame it on your son) have scheduled an early morning run and have been an hour late … again. At least these times you actually showed up. You either cancel at the last minute ( frequently) or you are an hour late. You are never there when you say you will be. You are sweet friends, but I’ve had stopped scheduling with you eons ago.

Someone just sent me the nicest note.

It read, in part, “Hey. So. This is hard. When we worked together, you supervised me. And I was kind of an ass to you many times. So I am sorry. I am making my amends all over. I am trying to do better.”

That is so meaningful to me. Yep, she WAS an ass to me, but that she would reach out to me after all these years was amazing. I hope it helps her, too.

It’s not Christmas and the post office was empty of customers, but my package is apparently being delivered late and is ‘in transit’. My mistake for not going to UPS

IT feels like college decision day all over again-- today is the day you decide about your offers. We cant wait to hear the final choice.

The inability to keep one’s nose covered with a face mask seems to be linked to the Y chromosome.

It is so wrong for a healthy 17-year old girl to be on life support and for her single mother to be told her only child is not going to make it. I know medical professionals are human but she went to the ER and it was wrong that she was sent home. It’s wrong that they failed to diagnose a blood clot in her lung. And it’s tragic that she collapsed at home a day later. Now she is on life support with doctors saying she will not make it. Five days ago she was a happy, healthy Class of 2022 volleyball player. Now it looks like she won’t make it to college. No, everything does not happen for a reason.

Trying to stay calm while you (we) wait to hear if you get the (so very needed) scholarship is as nerve-wracking for me, as it is for you. Let’s both stay busy and try really hard not to stress until you (we) hear. Either way you’re going to be in the program and your future is incredibly bright…but yeah, that $ would mean you wouldn’t “have to” work to pay rent for the year, and you could concentrate fully on your craft. I want that for you.

Wow, all the high school/college/grad-med-law school graduates look so young!

To borrow from Fiddler on the Roof, I don’t remember growing older, when did they???

I loved your video, son, it brought back many memories of how I felt when I was your age, but wow, the years have flown by. Enjoy your adulthood, treasuring it because it will fly by, and may your generation be able to fix a lot of what is wrong in the world (from medicine on).

When the stuff you’re supporting is argued via multiple memes, I know that any attempt by me to rebut is useless.

The stats don’t lie, but your RL friend sure does. More fool you for going along with it.

Time to mute and then unfriend.

All righty, then, snarky neighbors. I don’t understand the barbs. Hope you can find someone else to take over the treasurer’s duties for the road association, because I’m done.

I’m getting ready to mail my quarterly IRS payment. They had better not cash it before I get my stimulus check that was supposedly mailed on March 26th. I am a bit miffed (though not surprised) that they managed to delete my direct deposit info from the first two payments. I know I owed (and filed/paid) taxes in 2020, but I paid electronically from the same account! And there was nowhere this time to enter it in before the check was cut. Grumble.

I purposely didn’t watch the first day of the Derek Chauvin trial, because I didn’t want to see that video again. But today’s testimony was so wrenching that I’m not sure I can keep watching. Brutal.

Happy day here as I received D1’s text with a picture of her vaccine card. She now has had her second Pfizer shot and will be fully vaccinated when her students return to the classroom on 4/12.
And I loved how she captioned the picture to me that she is now “fully microchipped”, haha!
The running joke in our family has been give me that vaccine because I don’t care if the government tracks me!

It better be a medical issue. If it’s not, he is being treated a whole lot better than any regular person would be.

She died today. :broken_heart:
