It’s just scary that the state DHHS employee I spoke to didn’t seem to know anything about the new 529 ABLE accounts for disabled people. I wanted reassurance that putting the account amount on my son’s form to confirm his continuing eligibility for Medicaid wouldn’t be a problem. She said, “Well, you should send in documentation that the funds are protected…” What??? And of course, it’s not that easy to find since it’s fairly new legislation. I think this is going to be a nightmare. I’ve already contacted a state representative who is sympathetic to disabled people, so I hope he can help me. My son’s housing depends on Medicaid. 
The race, gender or sexual preference of a student being used as an factor in admissions is absolutely unfair and needs to stop. Students should be admitted based upon their hard work and involvement in high school, not traits they inherited from genetics from which they cannot help/change …

Please stop telling me it’s just for fun and as long as they enjoy themselves it’s enough. You drove your kid across state lines multiple times a week to get private coaching. You had him skip team competitions so he could win medals on his own. You had a plan from the very beginning on getting your kid where you wanted him in his sport and in his college, and that’s fine. But DO NOT act like you have been carefree and hands off. Own what you did, because you come off like a real jerk, and a liar. Also, while we’re here, my kid had to tutor your kid in Math and Science for YEARS. You’re welcome.

First Ivory Liquid Soap, and now Scotch Brite Pet Hair Removal Refill Sheets. Not being able to find them at the store didn’t clue me in. It wasn’t until I searched for them on Amazon and saw them priced at $40-$50 that reality hit - they’ve been discontinued.

I know your research and publications are important, but it would be really nice if you’d put as much into teaching the class as we do studying for it. Somehow, you don’t come across as overly concerned about your students when you’ve already traveled out of town for 3 lectures this semester.
