Wow—such a waste of resources forvalk tge different folks and departments to point at one another tobdecuse which Rx are covered under which portion of the insurance and Medicare A,B & D. It’s a mess.
Yes, of course he needs the Rx he was prescribed—why else would he gave it? Do you really think breathing is a luxury?
I can see why my neighbor was raving about his good Kaiser is to her and her H. ALL their bills are covered and they aren’t shuttled from having to make one phone call after another just to get the Rx covered! Kaiser is even paying ALL transportation and lodging for 4 months for patient and spouse so he can have stem cell treatment in NY in connection with his cancer treatment. I am very impressed!
Wait, if the major problem is HEART, why are the LUNG meds the ones that we are focusing on and adjusting? Why is everyone so happy to say, “Wow, if only the CPAP mask were more comfortable, the patient would wear it” when NONE of the other family members who have been prescribed CPAP masks are wearing theirs? Nope, I’m not buying it! I have told all of you the time and date of the next appointment so YOU can be present if you choose, but of course everyone is too busy, so it will just be H and me, again, listening to the same things we’ve been hearing for over a year!
Oh and by the way, we have been telling the patient time and again to wear his mask, WITHOUT support from the rest of you and he adamantly refuses and just gets mad at us. You guys have a turn and get him to wear it, PLEASE! We have begged you, but you are selectively deaf!
Oh well, at least everyone is doing what they are comfortable doing. One day, we will quit doing the driving to the lung doc and one of you will have to step up and take the lead. This day may come MUCH sooner than you may expect. We may take a very long trip and be unreachable.
I would never admit it out loud, but it takes me a lot longer to recover from no sleep for 24 hours (due to vacation fun and delayed flights causing me to get home at 5 a.m.) than it used to. Getting old really stinks.
Yay! BCBS finally reversed its denial of the treatment ordered by all 3 of my lung specialists. It only took multiple tests, 3 weeks and an appeal and several advocates and multiple phone calls. Is it any wonder why our premiums are so high?
Well, to be honest, we don’t really want to fix it. We just want to feel good about ourselves and therefore express outrage and horror. Fixing it would take guts and a willingness to exchange short term gain/long term pain for short term pain/long term gain. And frankly, that sucks. So we’d rather sit in like minded circles and pat each other on the back, extohlling our mutual virtue and kindness.
So, Comcast/Xfinity customer solutions representative - you were supposed to call me at noon to apply the customer commitment satisfaction guarantee credit (why you couldn’t do it yesterday sure sounded fishy, but, whatever…) because you made me call in 4 times, and the representative who scheduled to call me on Thursday at a specific time (I cancelled something to be home in front of the computer with my cell for the call) never called.
Your customer commitment, with a guaranteed small/token $20 credit when you fail, is:
.
You ASSURED ME you would call. Well…
The irony of your failure to call as promised is not lost on me. You guys SUCK
So, someone with a Spanish name lost his Tennessee driver’s license, and a gracious person posted it in our school FB page. Then this idiot tags Immigration Custom Enforcements because of his name??? Tennessee doesn’t even give driver’s licenses to illegal immigrant
Dear New Neighbor,
“Why don’t you park in front of your own house?” was meant as a suggestion, not a question. My trees do not exist to provide shade for your cars. That’s what your two-car garage is for. Grrr.
I am however annoyed and exhausted explaining again that your son is overwhelmed with work right now. We keep explaining that but you continue to call to get us to travel a 100 miles one way to see his cousin/visit you. Your son is barely getting the grass mowed.
So no I’m not mad but I am having your son explain why we can’t visit all the time. And I really don’t want to hear you complain about your other dil.
