<p>nope, i wrote mine on my surgery i had when i was a kid, and how it inspired me to go into the medical field.</p>

<p>Well.. sort of. It's more about how it's not what I thought it would be. It's a lot harder, but that just helped strengthen me as a person.</p>

<p>On another point, how the heck are you guys cutting your essays down? I just barely manage to get down to 300 char over. Is there a method or something I should be using to revise my short essays?</p>

<p>I'm going by the idea that if by cutting out the sentence/phrase, I can still understand the essay and it still flows, I'll do it. Nonetheless, I'm stuck with 48 characters over the limit for my activities essay, and I really can't cut anything else out. :(</p>

<p>Thank you for the response, chillaxin! :) I had a hard time getting my short essays down to the word limit as well. But it was sooo exhilarating deleting those last two words and going from 1604 char to 1595, LOL... I'm sure you'll experience that feeling soon!</p>

<p>I know what you guys mean, but I don't think the 1600 char limit is very strict (hence the ~ in front...) In fact if you try posting your essay, it will let you go a bit over, I'm not sure by what.</p>

<p>My process is to kind of tighten up my writing, slicing up longer adjectives for precise nouns. It makes for better writing, as well as shortening at the same time. Two birds, one stone, eh?</p>

<p>Do check the print preview however just to make sure nothing's being omitted. Oh and I'll remove my twin's name from the list, he's applying SCEA to Harvard.</p>

<p>Okay, so guess where I was last night??? If you say Stanford, then you're right. :D</p>

<p>Quick questions:
I was sitting in a class from 7-9 PM, but I was actually on campus from 4 until 9. Is it always that quiet, or was it just because it was a Monday?</p>

<p>Is the Treehouse Grill supposedly do be a good place to eat? I thought the food was okay, but my parents didn't like it much. <strong>shrug</strong> If I were to visit again, what would current students recommend? I doubt that I'll have access to actual cafeterias, so I'm speaking in terms of only the "restaurants" on campus. :)</p>
