I'm trying to decide whether or not to extend this "anxiety period" by not opening/looking at my decision until December 23rd. The 20th and 21st are finals, and I don't want to screw up just cause I'm disappointed. And the 22nd is my birthday...but I'll probably still look on the 15th.

lol wow seven days huh? if you want to keep your promise, i suggest you to stay off CC lol thats for sure. and i am going to Hong Kong lol. so much work to make up work arg! but it will all be worth it in the end. everything usually works out in the end lol. you know what would be great? if someone knew your email's password and checked your decisions for you. and if it was your bday, he/she would show you your acceptance!

We stopped in Hong Kong once on the way to India, the airport was really nice as far as airports go :) You're right, everything does usually work out in the end, even though sometimes it's hard to accept that. Yeah that would be pretty sweet to be shown an acceptance on my birthday! Lol if only...

oh man, so this is where all the SCEArs went. addictinggames.com is terrible! omigosh.... life = over. May i suggest "Motherload", and "curveball"? Lol...

yes chillaxin, i get to take classes at the U of MN, but sadly, I do have to do the homework. Sigh.

Have fun choboking!

we should have a running countdown timer on one of these pages. does anyone know how to get php or javascript to work on CC?

I can't believe I missed the friday-night party!!!!! :( :D That "egg" thread is pretty crazy, and someone...nah...don't want to get into it either...

I've created a countdown in my organizer-thingamajig! 41 more days!

Ok, so exactly how many Indians are on here??? :p I think at least four of us are...

AddictingGames has always been terrible...Everyone try websudoku.com!!! Billions (and I'm serious, billions!) of free sudokus. They're absolutely awesome! Four different levels, too. I always play evil and it takes me so long to finish...

lol myriadp. my birthday's the day after yours!

acceptance notification = the best gift ever :D

When I applied, the envelope that came in the mail was very big and said "Congratulations!" on the front. So, regardless of whether or not I opened the envelope, I found out. =p

If you are serious about not looking... perhaps you can ask your parents to hide the mail, and don't check online.

Who the hell would deprive themselves of that?!? haha.

the pressure would be too intense, and I'd go crazy.
So about those other apps... so for most, if you want to be qualified for merit scholarships, the apps are due like Dec. 1 :( that means less than a month to get it all together.

haha, devaaki added the second part of his location for people like me... who knew though. lol

i have an exam on Dec 15th from 8AM to 6:00 PM. :(
My school is crazy. An acceptance would really help me recover quickly. :D

wow fuzzylogic, thats intense...i've never heard of a school doing ten hours of testing! what for?

That means if we don't get a big envelope with "Congratulations!" on the front, we automatically know we got r******d. :( I don't think it would really matter though, because I probably wouldn't be able to fight the temptation to check on Dec. 15. Heh.

my school is sort of a prep school for IIT (Indian Institute of Technology). Almost half the students get in every year. they have changed the pattern for the entrance exam so our school is sort of experimenting with different patterns. we get a lunch break in between though.

Would your school be in Kota then, cause a friend of mine goes to one of the institutes there and he's brought back horror stories of the workload?
An acceptance would make any day worthwhile though :)

no, i'm in hyderabad. what syllabus do you follow k_twin? lot of indian expats in dubai.

I'm in an ISC school, switched from CBSE in 8th grade. You're right about that, at times it seems like India around here. It's still got its own uniqueness though.

i told myself that i wasn't going to anticipate dec 15th! i dont want to think about it but today during statistics i made a count down to december 15th. =)my last day of school before winter break and the day that decisions come out!

36 days...?

what happened?

Yesss....36 days....getting there!!! :D
