For the Ivy League SCEA's, (Harvard, Yale, Princeton) is the CSS profile actually due Nov 1? I applied early SCEA, but did not send in the CSS profile....Since the CSS profile costs money, I wanted to wait to see if I get accepted first. Should I send it in now, or just wait until December for acceptance decision? Will not having a CSS profile in affect acceptance decision>

Can you afford the university without financial aid? If not, I suggest you carefully follow ALL instructions for applying for and receiving financial aid.

No, it will not affect your acceptance decision, but it WILL affect your ability to attend if accepted and you cannot afford full-cost without financial aid.

Submit the CSS/Profile as soon as possible.

You need to call the school. Of the college prepares an estimated award with the EA acceptance, they might not have time to do so for you since you missed their priority deadline by a month (if that is the case…check each website). No one here can tell you what this means for your EA applications.

Luckily EA is not binding and you have until May 1 to make a matriculation decision. Perhaps they can prepare your financial aid with the regular decision students. Ask.

If you applied SCEA to ANY school, you were not supposed to apply early to ANY other school. Hope you only did ONE application early if it was SCEA.

And as noted above…adhering to deadlines is extremely important in this process. By missing deadlines you could be jeopardizing your financial aid prospects.

For all the rest of your schools…do NOT wait until you are accepted…submit the Profile and whatever else is required well before the deadlines! The schools have deadlines for a reason.
