CSS Profile question?

I sumbited my CSS profile today, but on the college board’s website it say the profile won’t be delivered untill November 16th. They do say a college may hold the profile untill they date they want it, but on harvard website the deadline is November 1st. Do I need to contact the college board to get the date fixed, or it just Harvard choosing to delay the acceptance of the profile?

There’s no need to notify Harvard, as everyone who is applying for financial aid in the SCEA round will have the same issue.

FWIW: The information you entered into the CSS Profile will be used to generate an estimated financial aid package should you be accepted in the SCEA round. Estimated is the key word, as your ACTUAL financial aid package is based on your family’s 2015 income taxes which have yet to be filed. So, if a student happens to miss the November deadline, it’s not a big deal. They will just receive their SCEA acceptance letter without a financial aid package, but that package will be calculated later in the Spring provided the 2015 income tax returns are submitted via CSS Profile IDOC (https://idoc.collegeboard.org/idoc). And – Harvard being as generous as they are – even if a student misses the March CSS Profile deadline, financial aid is still available for students who file the CSS Profile late (April, May, June, July and August). That’s not true for other colleges, but Harvard has more money than God, so no worries.

Thanks for your help. BTW I meant contact the college board not Harvard, but it seems to be a non issue. Again thanks.
