Hey everyone. Had a question pertaining to how disadvantageous it would be to apply SCEA without any Subject Test scores. I unfortunately could not test on the most recent date and will have to take them in October. I worry however that even if I rush my scores, Princeton may not consider them. If this is the case, would it make more sense to apply early at another school that places less emphasis on Subject Tests? I am in love with this school so I would hate to ruin my overall chances by applying early without their suggested scores readily available. I would likely choose a non-binding early admissions program if I do not end up applying to Princeton EA. Let me know what you think.
My son did his SATII tests in October and was admitted early. If you apply early to Princeton, you will self report your scores and Princeton will use the official test results only to confirm what you self-reported. While Princeton recently changed their requirement of 2 SATII tests, remember you will be competing against thousands of other applicants who will have those test results. The October sitting for the exams is fine and well within Princeton’s expectations for early action applicants.
October is no problem!
