<p>With some early decision, you can only apply to one school and if you are admitted, you must attend. With other schools with ED, you can apply elsewhere with nonbinding early action, but must attend ED school if admitted.</p>

<p>With single choice early action, you can only apply to one school early-anything, but you do not have to attend if accepted. I don't believe SCEA stops you from applying early to schools with rolling admission.</p>

<p>A number of school have nonbinding early action where you just apply earlier and learn your fate earlier, unless you are deferred. You can apply to multiple early action schools of this type and are not bound to any one of them.</p>

<p>Read carefully what each school's policy is so you don't violate it. Violations have repercussions not only for you but also for future applicants from your high school.</p>
