Right now, my schedule is at 18 units. I'm trying to decide between dropping Chem 14A and taking the equivalent course over the summer at UCSD, and dropping English Comp 3, despite the fact that Rubinson gets such awesome reviews. I only took 10 units last quarter (my first quarter), so I'm afraid that taking all four classes + a fiat lux may be too much of a jump. If anyone has any insight on what would be most advisable to do, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Chem 14A - Kabehie
Math 31A - Butler
English Comp 3 - Rubinson
French 6 - Denie Higney
Fiat Lux on music theory

screw the fiatlux. I’ve heard they are often too much for work too little reward.
Eng Comp 3 is easy
Math 31a isn’t bad especially if you’ve had calc before
Chem is what you make of it
French 6 ???

You thought 10 units was a good amount of units…? I know an upperclassmen who’s trying to get 30+ units under her belt. Mind you, half of it isn’t actual lecture/discussion, but still.

Are you doing any extra-curricular activities and are worried about balancing your time?
