Schedule Change Question

So I was recently going through my Berkeley application so some random reason and I noticed that when I applied I was planning on taking AP Physics. I switched the class for a Discrete Mathematics class at a university. Do you think that they will rescind my acceptance even though the Discrete math class is harder than AP Physics? I'm kinda freaking out right now since I'm planning to submit my SIR any day now

No, very confident they won’t. They want you to notify them, it will be one of the conditions of the offer you will accept with the SIR, but that is to protect them from students that slack off or who lied about a ton of difficult classes they claimed they would take in senior year but did not. Things happen and sometimes you can’t get into a specific class you listed, but if you have generally the same rigor and degree of effort, it is totally understood. Just contact them as listed on myberkeleyapp. Taking a college level class instead of a high school AP class is considered an upleveling over what you listed, certainly not slacking off.
