Hi guys when do you get your new schedules for next year? I get them feb-marchish

We get recommendations in January, but we start scheduling in March/April I believe… I’m really anxious about deciding what courses to take senior year…

Didn’t mean schedules I meant like plan your classes

Isn’t that the same thing? I mean, I’ve been planning out my classes for senior year since the beginning of Junior year.

At my school, we meet with our guidance counselors in about May or so to tell them what classes we want to take, then we have to get our prospective schedules signed by parents, return the form, and they put us into the classes. Also, we have to apply and be accepted to take AP classes at my school (each AP class only has about 1 class of each one) so we apply for those in March/April.

We schedule them fairly late, like March-April, but most of the upperclassman at my school are already figuring out their schedules (I already unofficially picked mine).

We plan in February but I already know what I’m going to take

We pick ours in February. I’m actually still unsure of what I’m taking and I think a month after starting the 2nd semester is way too soon to pick classes. A lot of people end up changing their schedules around through the end of the year, during registration, and many are still dropping APs at the start of the year. It’s hard to know what you want and what you can handle so early in the year. I think picking classes at the end of the year in May would be much better as we can reflect on our performance throughout the entire year and pick our classes accordingly.

March/ April

march - may ish

We start planning in January. I know a most of the classes I’m going to take though. By the way, I’ll be a sophomore.
