It may be seven - eight months from now, but I do know a lot of schools schedule their students early. So, what have you scheduled for your classes next year? For those who have yet to, what do you plan? What are you dreading? What are you most excited for?

Post away! (:

(Sorry if this is a duplicate. Too many pages came up in my search.)

English 3
AP Chemistry
German 1
Spanish 4 (1st half)
Strength Training (gym class)
Honors Pre-Calc
Economics
American Government
Drawing 1
Sports Medicine 1… hopefully. I really want this class. I am so sick of not being about to take this class. I scheduled it last year and didn’t get it because it was full. If I don’t get this class, I will sue the school.

Depends on what college I go to, I guess? Probably a Calc 3 type class and a bio class among my first semester classes, though. And given most colleges’ requirements, probably a freshman seminar or a writing class.

Junior:
Honors Precalculus
Honors Physics
AP Chem [or another AP]
Honors French IV
Honors English 11
APUSH [or honors us2]

If I take those 2 APs, it would be the second most rigorous schedule possible. Some students took Honors Physics sophomore year therefore they can have an additional AP junior year.

Algebra
Analysis I
Philosophy of Mind
Analysis II
Advanced Lin. Alg II
Intermediate C++
Metalogic
Complex Analysis
Advanced C++
a couple other classes

@MissYale: AP Euro isn’t that hard of a class. Just make sure you read the book… and honestly, you’ll be fine! The book is kind of time consuming though!

@FairyDreams: Your schedule looks really competitive as it is. Honestly, don’t add another AP to that. Bio should challenge you enough!

My schedule for Junior year:

AP Bio
AP USH
AP Psych
AP English 1 (Not the formal name of the AP class, but it’s what we call it here)
Honors Trig/Pre-calc
Honors French 4
Honors Spanish 4
Concert Choir

We haven’t started scheduling yet lol.
But AP Chemistry, Pre-Calculus H (I wish I could skip over it), AP Psychology are already set in stone for me (and the inevitable requirements: health/english/phsy ed. = bleh).

Gym / PC Aps
Band
AP Physics B
Spanish 4 honors or AP Stats (Have to convince my mom to let me drop Spanish)
Pre Calc AB or BC Honors (Haven’t decided)
AP Lit
APUSH

Junior (though I need to check with my guidance counselor):
English H
Spanish H
Precalc H (:(…they will never let me skip)
AP Econ (micro and macro are in the same class)
AP Chem (I’m scared…2-3 hours of hw a night. Tied for toughest class in school)
AP Bio (See Chem, AP. The other hardest class in the school. Going to be very annoying.)
AP European History

Basically, I’m just like runningonempty.

Edit: Lots of sophs on this thread, huh?
Edit: Will AP Chem and Bio still be that much work for me if I learn the material before hand? (I’m going for USABO and USNCO). Stupid lab reports…

^It’ll still be just as much work practically because homework = busywork (regardless of how well you know the material). Learning the concepts doesn’t take too much time.

Luckily our teacher doesn’t assign homework. But other teachers usually assign AP Chem problems from the Zumdahl Study Guide (if you are using the textbook). Ask people who have taken the course before and maybe do the homework beforehand if you really want to get ahead.

^I’ll be a senior too; I’m not sure that there’ll be a Bayhawk standing at the end of the year though.

AP Calc BC
AP Lit
AP Macro and Micro Econonmics
Health
AP Physics(?) I don’t know if it’s worth taking Physics B when I know some calculus
Aerospace Engineering
Introduction to Engineering Design
Engineering Development and Design.

Some of this might change if I can secure the internship I’ve been pursuing with Lockheed Martin.

Lol not really sure.
Here’s what I want to take though.

Junior Year:
Organic Chemistry
Biochemistry
Multivariable calculus
Linear algebra/differential equations
APUSH
AP Lang and Comp
College Sociology
