schedule help!

My schedule is Math 20A, Spanish 1D/DX, Econ 1, and MMW 1. I'm a pharm chem major, but right now I don't have any science classes! :(
I don't want to enroll in Chem 6B bc it's midterms clash with the math midterms, and Bild 1 requires Chem 6B. My only option left is physics 1, but that is full too...do you think more spots will open up for physics later? I think I might add it the first day of school when I can enroll in 22 units.

Whoo, pharm chem, same as me! :stuck_out_tongue: You can take BILD 3 for a science class, there’s no prerequisites for the class and I think there’s still room right now.

hmm im pharm-chem also. I checked BILD 3. Adl0816 is right, theres no prereqs for the class and its required for our major anyway. so maybe we should take it? o_o

Yeah, I’m planning to take that class if there’s no room for me in CHEM 6A.

that way we can catch up with chem later on because we’ll be talking BILD 3 now anyway right?

Well, we’d have to take CHEM 6C for summer school. :(

thanks soooo much that was such helpful advice!
but i can’t take Bild 3, because the open class conflicts with MMW
i won’t have to do Chem 6c in the summer because i got out of chem 6A :)

For another Bild 3 class out of 450 people there is a wait list of 5 people so I would be the 6th…What are my chances for getting that class?

Haha no problem. You’re lucky, you don’t have to go through all this CHEM 6A waitlisting misery. :(

^What else are you taking? And what college are you in?

I think you have a decent chance of getting in if you’re 6th in line in a class of 450. Afterall, they say 10% of a class drops out…

I’m in Muir, and I’m taking Math 20C, Chem 6A (waitlisted), MCWP 40 (waitlisted), LIFR 1D/1DX, and two freshman seminars.

@adl0816

You don’t have to necessarily take Chem 6C in the summer. You can take it fall next year.

How would that work? I have to finish general chemistry this year in order for me to start organic chemistry next year.

^You start O-chem winter quarter next year.

Take Chem6C in summer with Hoeger. You won’t regret it.
