I’m working out my first semester schedule and it’s looking like taking back to back classes will be unavoidable. I know classes start 5 minutes after the hour but is it possible to make it between classes in that amount of time? Do most students take classes back to back?
It’s actually 10 minutes but you should look at where your classes are on campus to make sure it’s possible to walk from one to the other within that time.
some students like to spread out their time; some like to compact their schedule. It all depends on the student. Usually if students try to do back-to-backs, the walk between buildings should be no more than 10 minutes.
From classroom to classroom can take as long as 23 minutes, say the distance between the Public Health building and the Law School building.
Look on the campus map to see where the buildings are. Be aware that the east side of campus is uphill, so it may be a slower walk or run in that direction.
A lot of students do have back-to-back classes similar to your situation.
I actually preferred having back-to-back classes over time as it seemed to be more efficient way to get over with the classes.
