yay for 152 and bio 25. i really hate the fact that I finally have to delve into the bio department...not a happy thought for a non pre-med chem major.

look for an ethical inquiry/alp/some kind of credit you don't anticipate yourself fulfulling with major classes...that's definitely the most useful and those have been my easiest classes at duke so far.

also, do you need a foreign lang? maybe that?

i could use a foreign language, but i didnt take any first semester. so i dont think they give intro classes in second semester? how hard is spanish 101?

Spanish 101 is not necessarily hard, but it's enough work that you wouldn't want to take it as your "easy" class. Try a Psych. I'm a major, so I feel bad suggesting a Psych class as "easy," and there are some that I WOULDN'T recommend as an easy class even though they're interesting (Psych 91, for example). But something like Social Psych, Psych 97, Psych 99 -- those should be easy and tend to be pretty interesting, too.

linkin -- look into seminars, esp. freshman seminars. it seems like you're a science person, and there's that notoriously easy physics 49s seminar. you need to fulfull seminar requirements anyway... look at english26s they have them in all sorts of topics, are definitely on the easy side, and always look really cool. people who take them seem to love them (this coming sem, one of them has 24 on the syllabus! it's not a traditional english class, so it doesn't count for majors)
