Hi, I need some feedback on my schedule for next year. So far this is what it looks like:

Sophomore Year:
AP Chinese
AP US History
English 10
Health
(Honors) Accelerated Chemistry
Alg 2/Trig
AP Studio Art: Drawing

Does this look too challenging? I want to be able to balance my social life and schoolwork, and being swamped with homework is never fun. Right now I have all A's, but the only advanced course I'm currently taking is (Honors) Molecular Biology.

I would strongly suggest taking honors algebra 2/ trig, because it honestly isn’t that hard, but even if you don’t take it that’s a very good schedule for a sophmore

Health and English are a breeze. At our school, APUSH is really difficult, as is honors chem. AP Chinese has a reputation as being easy as well, and I honestly can’t tell you anything about art due to lack of personal experience ; )

So basically, you’re pretty much on the right track. I usually aim for 2 hard classes, two easy, and the rest medium.

It looks good to me. Have you considered taking Health over the summer? That way it cuts your classes to 6 periods and may give you more time during the beginning of the year.
