Good Sophomore Schedule Next Year?

Sophomore
• English 10 Honors
• Biology
• Chemistry Honors
• Algebra 2/Trigonometry
• AP World History
• German 2 (Full Year)
• Phy Ed and Health Classes

I'm taking Chemistry Honors a 11th Grade class, so I can later take more science courses during 11-12th grade.

Haha yea, it's a good schedule. I should know, it's my schedule (sans the german, I have Latin). :D You'll do fine!

So long as that is considered a rigorous schedule at your school that looks good. Do they offer honors math?

I'm average in math.

Thanks you guys for the responses.

Biology Honors instead of Biology?

Otherwise, looks good to me. :)
Like others said, just make sure it's a tough schedule in your school

We don't have Biology H in our school so I took the regular biology(10th grade Grad Require) and Chemistry Honors.

Sounds pretty close to most sophomores schedules. I like it.

AP World History, try to stay awake in that class.

is it that bad?

I liked World History, my most interesting class last year.

Do your readings.

lol i'm a sophmore but i'm graduating next year.. i'm taking honors chemistry and APUSH both for juniors and i've already taken honors alg 2. I also have a lot of EC's to handle.

your schedule is fine but it depends on what grade you get and the EC's that go along

^You're graduating next year...I'm jealous. Are you going to Simon's Rock or just getting your diploma early and applying to a traditional college?

• English 10 Honors
• Biology
• Chemistry Honors
• Algebra 2/Trigonometry
• AP World History
• German 2 (Full Year)
• Phy Ed and Health Classes

Sounds sort of like my soph schedule. Except I took Bio AA and Algebra 2 AA in 9th. And I took French instead of German. And I took APUSH instead of APWH. And most people at my school take Chem in 10th grade. But whatever, it looks fine. Don't worry about what colleges will like, take what you life.

I agree ^^ don't worry about loading yourself up for colleges, it's a good schedule. You don't want to kill yourself.

can youtake ap bio or ap chem? that would be standard if you could

raiderade, we're changing to 7 classes a day next year so i'm going to see what my county says and no i don't go to a rock school and i'm not aiming for a traditional school.. i'm going for harvard as you can see be my username

we don't have that many AP classes, so no AP chem,Bio,whatsover.

I'm a soph. Our school is really small - my class rank is 1/53. Here's my schedule:

Art (gonna take it next two years..I want to major in Architecture/Design)
Biology
Advanced CAD
Spanish 1 - gonna take it next 2 years. They only offer 3 years and won't let frosh take it.
Physical Conditioning - I'm an athlete. Football & Track
World History
English 10
Geometry

Our school only offers 3 AP's. Calc, English, and Biology. I'm going to take Calc for sure, and that's probably it. I can't take AP Bio, because I have to take Chem and Physics, and English just bores the living crap out of me.

It is a good schedule if you feel it is challenging enough.

What's better Pre-AP English 10 or English 10?

note- I would rather read then write.
